After 10 Years, the Whales Still Touch Us

My experience with the baby and mother gray whales was beyond words. In fact is was an experience full of feelings. Probably what moved me most was that in the San Ignacio Lagoon we humans have fought to "make room" for our cousins the whales to live on this earth...we along side them and them along side us. At least in this one setting our lives and the lives of these whales are both as rich as they should be...each with the presence of the other.

Thank you, Joel Reynolds, for inviting me to share my thoughts.

Sincerely,
Rich Busse

I was there with my son, and I saw the magic in his face …the sheer joy of it has never left me, and I know it has never left my son.
