NRDC works with partner groups in Alberta to save the Castle Wilderness and the Bighorn Wildland. Our partners include:
- Castle Crown Wilderness Coalition (http://www.ccwc.ab.ca/): CCWC works towards the restoration and protection of the Castle Wilderness as a viable ecosystem.
- Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (http://www.cpaws.org/, http://www.castlewilderness.ca/): CPAWS is a national non-profit membership-based conservation organization. The Alberta Chapters work on a variety of Alberta wilderness campaigns, including protection of the Castle Wilderness and the Bighorn Wildland.
- Sierra Club of Canada (http://www.sierraclub.ca/prairie/): The Prairie Chapter of the Sierra Club of Canada in Alberta serves the greater public through education and grassroots action including a Castle Wilderness campaign.
- Centennial Wilds Campaign (http://www.centennialwilds.ab.ca/): Centennial Wilds is a non-profit, volunteer based projects to protect wildlands throughout Alberta as part of the celebration of the Province's centennial this year and for the next 100 years to come.
- Alberta Wilderness Association (http://www.albertawilderness.ca/): The AWA defends wild Alberta through awareness and action, including campaigns to protect the Castle Wilderness and the Bighorn Wildland.
- Bighorn Country Wildlands Coalition (http://www.bighorncountry.org/): The Coalition includes concerned citizens, trail riding outfitters, equestrians, backpackers and hikers, hunters, anglers, eco-tourism businesses, conservation and recreation groups and is working to protect Bighorn Country.
- Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y) (http://www.y2y.net/): Y2Y seeks to conserve the Yellowstone to Yukon region through science and stewardship.
