UN registers concern about threat to whale nursery

After NRDC and our partners persuade the United National World Heritage Committee to review Mitsubishi’s plans, the committee votes in defense of the whale nursery. Following the UN’s lead, a group of world-renowned scientists, including nine Nobel laureates, also sign on to the campaign, urging Mitsubishi to scrap its plan for the saltworks.
