BioGems Defenders answer call to action to save belugas
BioGems Defenders send more than 100,000 messages urging Anglo American to abandon the Pebble Mine and spare the last 312 beluga whales of Cook Inlet. Anglo's plans would bring a port, increased shipping traffic and more pollution to the Inlet, threatening critical habitat for Alaska's most endangered belugas.
